This sharpie snowman mug is easy to make and perfect to personalize. Collect your cups and make some for the whole family.
Check out DIY sharpie mugs for even more inspiration!

IMPORTANT TIPS:
1. Regular sharpie designs wash off, even if baked.
2. Use oil-based markers, bake designs. (many instructions on pinterest)
3. Hand wash! Even my oil based and baked designs washed away slightly in the dishwasher. Mostly where I had retraced areas!

I tucked slipper socks inside as gifts for the cousins last Christmas.

I used regular sharpies and then baked. My daughter told me the design washed off:(

  9. LOVE these! How do you get the orange color to stay orange? When I tried this over the weekend, the orange color turned a brownish purple...

    1. The orange shown in my photo is a regular sharpie marker:( Not great results for washing and not recommended. The color is an almost neon orange like a highlighter color. Vibrant!!!! I only found one orange in the oil based sharpies and haven't tried that. Is that what you used???? Craft paint is always an option. Use a thin tip art brush. Craft paint bakes nicely and self cures in 22 days without baking. that means don't wash or disturb design for that long:)
