I sanded this paint splattered chair, so I could repaint it. But after sanding, I liked it all chippy!
When my daughter saw it she said, "I love that, cool mom!" So Much Better With Age has a neat post on heavily distress furniture.
Do you like chippy chairs????

Thanks Tanya!!!! Happy Holidays
DeleteI love how this turned out, Michele. I usually don't distress enough, and then I have to go back and redo. Looks great! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Dee<3 I got the chair at the beach, on one of those monthly curbside recycle days. We saw people all over town carrying around tables and treasures they had snagged too! My chair had paint drips all over, but the wood is maple! Beautiful under the paint. I was tempted to just remove all the paint, but I love the chippy look so much<3
DeleteI love it. Great look. Hugs, Keti
