beach sign and dressing room

www.sewsweetvintage.com how to make a beach sign
It's the first day of summer, and I've made a distressed beach sign for our dressing roomYou can find my beach sign tutorial on Guidecentral
We decided to turn this spare bedroom into a dressing room. There are three dressers in here! I keep linens in one, some of my clothes in the second, and the third is my hubby's! He also gets the closet, because I have our bedroom closet:)
My husband helped me make this guitar rack from some scrap wood.
Shank's Barn in Oxford, PA, is an architectural salvage Heaven! That's where I found some of the glass drawer pulls that I used for the wall rack. I found a key to fit the vanity drawer too!
Can you believe this vanity was left curbside marked FREE!
We carefully disassembled the mirror, vanity, and drawer, sanded parts all the parts well, painted one coat of satin country cottage white, then lightly sanded again for a shabby chic look.

My pooch, Bailey, wanted to help:)
Our beachy dressing room is almost finished.
Happy first day of SUMMER!
I'm joining up at these lovely link parties.

    1. Awe, thanks:) Poodle and bichon, which we call Beepoo. We also think he is part beanie baby:) He's two years old, doesn't shed, but needs regular hair clips and anal gland cleaning, yuck:( He's the most difficult pet I've ever house trained, super sweet, loyal and smart though! He should be in the movies!
