anchor dress

I've been loving all the anchor fashion out there on Pinterest and Etsy! Luckily, I still had some fusible fabric paper left over from my last pillow case project (find the tutorial here), so I could stow one on my beach cover up! My inspiration for my dress came from this anchor top from Olivia Paige Clothing on Etsy
Olivia's top has a cool pinup look! Sorting through my thrifted top basket, I found some bold stripes to up-cycle. After ironing in place (tutorial link above), I machine stitched my anchor around the edges.
We've got record temps this week, and this dress will be perfect for the beach or boardwalk!
