DIY snowman pillow

You can have a snowman all winter with this cute pocket pillow cover. Once again, I couldn't resist the IKEA "as is" bins, where I found this dish towel.
I used fabric scraps to make a face and attached with fabric fuse. Be sure to cover the face and towel with a dampened protective cloth when you iron!
(I used a piece of an old pillow case below).
sewing your pillow cover
Place your towel on a flat surface with the right side facing up. Fold each side in towards the center, overlapping a little in the center. Stitch sides closed to create a pocket pillow cover. Turn pillow cover rightside out and place your pillow inside. IKEA towels have the loop hang tab now, so you could sew on a button and use the loop to fasten.
He fits cozy on my kitchen chair. I'm going to make another to hang as hand towel in my bathroom:)

Merry Christmas!
I'm linking up at these merry parties!
