foam boot noodles

Summer time, is the perfect time, to find foam, pool, noodles at your local stores. We don't wear boots as much in Summer, but come Winter and you can't find the foam noodles. So, make sure you pick up a few.
how to make foam boot noodles

organize boots with pool noodles
I've been wanting to organize my slouchy boots. It's January, and my boots and closets are a mess, but foam pool noodles are out of season. So,  I decided to order some on Ebay. (note to self to buy more this Summer!)
how to make boot supports using foam pool noodles
Two noodles were enough to fit four and a half pairs of tall boots, nine boots total!
The noodles are super easy to cut. After measuring and marking the length I wanted for my boot, I used a serrated kitchen knife on my cutting board. They cut like "butta".

I added duck tape hearts to my noodle tops using duck tape folded in half, sticky side facing out, and cutting my shape with a sharp pair of embroidery scissors.

This will sure keep my small closet space organized. I'm for sure going to buy some more in Summer.
