gluten free flour-less knockout ninja brownies

Flour-less Knockout Ninja Brownie
I adapted the recipe for these super easy brownies from Tammy's Recipes and Naturally Knocked Up
After making them twice, I'm calling them knockout brownies!

Ingredients:
2 cups cooked black beans- (or 1 can rinsed and drained) i used canned:)
3 eggs
1/3 grape seed oil
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup organic sugar- (brand used-Wholesome Sweetners, evaporated cane juice)
Hershey's chocolate syrup
*If you use unsalted beans and butter add 1/8 teaspoon of salt.

Instructions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees, in a food processor or blender
(i used my ninja food processor and the batter was super light) combine all, black beans, eggs, oil, cocoa powder, vanilla, and sugar. Pulse until whipped and smooth.

2. Spray an 8x8- inch pan with grape seed oil. (I'm now using a 9 space cupcake pan, read more here! ) Pour batter into the greased dish. *Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts (if using) over the top and push them down into the batter just a little bit.
I didn't have walnuts or chocolate chips, so i drizzled Hershey's chocolate syrup back and forth across the top and used a spatula to swirl a bit.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 mins, until brownies are set in the middle. Watch for excess browning at the edges, but don't under bake!
Cool and then chill before serving, store in fridge.
We ate ours warm and loved them. But, they're even more fabulous chilled! My second batch, I added 1 tablespoon baking powder for a more cake like texture, chocolate chips & then whipped cream when cool.
I'm joining up at these lovely link parties.

  4. It's so hard for me to imagine brownines without flour. So great that there are so many recipes for those who can't tolerate gluten. They look yummy. I am not a chocolate lover so I'm not crazy about brownies but I sure would love to taste one! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
