I invited my niece over to make craft stick snowflakes on Thanksgiving. I was super surprised when my husband, nephew, and brother all got crafty, creating their own awesome designs!
I love the design my hubby created below. It looks like a double exposure with the trees reflecting in the photo that my brother took with his phone.
My brother's star design blew us away!
My niece and nephew made really cool larger snowflakes! Inspiration for this craft came from RoAnnelsLief. Popsicle sticks are available at your local craft store.

DeleteThese are lovely, I wonder if my big kids will want to have a go at this when they come home for the holidays - they certainly would have loved it a few years ago, maybe I can get them interested in a nostalgic crafty afternoon sometime.
ReplyDeleteThank you! My niece is 11th grade, my nephew is college freshman:) Happy Holidays
DeleteI love a great family craft. That is so fun that everyone did a different design.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I was surprised it was so popular:)
DeleteThis is a fun idea to do with kids! Especially for Floridians like me since we don't get any real snowflakes. Thanks for joining us for Hump Day Happenings.
ReplyDeleteYes, I printed out the photos in the link for inspiration and to show the kids:) But they really did there own designs!

DeleteYou all made such pretty snowflakes with those popsicle sticks. I'm putting this on my "to do". Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteThank you<3 Super fun and inexpensive!
DeleteMichele, these are beautiful! I love the "rustic" feel, which would be the perfect decor in our farmhouse. Plus, they're easy enough that my kids could help me with them...which is always a bonus! Pinned and saving for next year!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thank you and Merry Christmas<3
